At Leaps & Bounds Pediatrics, we understand that being diagnosed with diabetes is a life-changing event for children and families. Our practice provides a comprehensive Type 1 Diabetes management program for our patients. Whether your child is requiring multiple daily injections or is using an insulin pump we can work with you to manage the highs and lows that come with the diagosis.

Dr. Brian has been taking care of patients with diabetes since 2006 with many summers spent at Camp Sweeney as medical staff. He has taken care of patients newly diagnosed and sometimes very sick in the hospital after going into diabetic ketoacidosis. He is passionate about supporting familes and understands access to pediatric endocrinology care is limited in west Texas. He will manage the majority of your diabetes care referring you to an endocrinologist when appropriate.
